Triangle Motel

As others have said it doesn't look like much from the outside but the room is inside our clean and well kept. There's definitely no AC so it was 80 when I got there and the room. Couple hours late. It did not cool down but as soon as the sun went down it actually cooled down pretty fast. I was in the '60s by the time I went to bed so it was okay. Place is really quiet even though there was a lot of people there. Lot of motorcycles. Overall for a hundred bucks not bad. Note they are very strict on the check-in time. I got there after a hot day on the bike and didn't really have anywhere to go but they made me sit in the parking lot for 30 minutes looking at my empty room. Which I'm not so sure about the customer service on that. If the room's open, no real reason not to would have made me repeat customer for sure.

Everyone has different criteria for what constitutes a good motel and The Triangle satisfied mine in full. As a photographer/writer, having the mint on the pillow and fancy imported linen on the bed are immaterial; my needs are utilitarian not cosmetic like a fully-outfitted kitchen, table/desk space to work at night and a nice hot shower after long days hiking on a customary 12-day stay. Also, the multi-talented and affable Dawn provided assistance whenever needed. The proprietors are also serious about enforcing noise regulations to ensure their customers enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I heartily endorse The Triangle and its spacious Suite C, especially for a lengthy visit. (And best wishes to Dawn on her upcoming wedding day!)

Great little motel. The breakfast pizza and coffee are an easy and really nice way to start a morning with a lot to do. You can get it quick and hit the hills. On the other hand, a nice breakfast at Kendall Mountain Cafe is an outstanding tradition also. Live like a hobbit and have first AND second breakfasts! What the heck, you'll burn it off hiking that afternoon anyway. The rooms are clean and there is a nice little kitchenette with a fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, and basic dishes. There is plenty of parking and an overflow area around the side. They even still have the gas pumps to top off your tanks. I added a picture of the mama moose and her calf that wandered right through town because it was just too cool not to.

Expensive for what it is....but i did sleep well. Nice walking to downtown was great. They sent me a message when I left a clothing there which was nice customer service. Check out guy was super nice.

My wife and I and our 2 cats stayed 4 nights, starting 9/4/2023. Is was a great experience. The room was very clean and well stocked. There was a free continental breakfast every morning and the coffee was flowing too. Dawn seems to pretty much run the show there. It didn't matter whether it was morning, noon, or night - she was taking care of her customers with a great attitude and warm smile. We'll be back for sure next year.

Quaint, clean, and best of all, REALLY hot water motel. It’s an older, well kept facility. Only issue when we stayed: Most DirectTV channels not working. Staff super friendly & helpful, especially Mariah.

Stayed for 4 nights the last week of July in Room B. This is a one bedroom with a queen size bed (I think) along with a twin bed and futon in the living room. Also had a desk, and kitchen table with 3 chairs. It also has a kitchen with full size fridge, range, and microwave. There was plenty of space, it was very comfortable, and well laid out. The price compared to everything else in Silverton was very budget friendly and good value. It was very clean, and while it might be a little dated as far as fixtures, I enjoyed it and would definitely stay again and recommend. I traveled with friends who also had 2 other rooms at Triangle Motel and everyone agreed this was a great option for our trip.

This is our fourth year to go to Silverton, Colorado for backpacking with the family and our fourth year to stay at the hotel. Fantastic. Staff rooms are great. The best part of the entire state is waking up in the morning and looking out over the mountains

Family owned and operated. Super nice and friendly. Very attentive and informative. Rooms are spacious. Great location. Whole town is easily accessible within walking distance.

Decent rooms at a reasonable price. We got a three bed suite for two nights. Private bathroom with bathtub/shower. Kitchen w/ stove, fridge, dishwasher, pots, plates, cups, silverware. No built in a/c apart from a floor unit that didn't do much to cool the room. The beds were comfortable enough to get a good night's rest. The staff was very friendly.
